Revise the important formulae: Use the short notes to revise the important pointers as well as the formulae. It is important to use the short notes as there will be no time to check the chapters and topics in detail. You will have just enough time to skim through the most important points for each topic. Check those topics that are considered to have more weightage as per the past year JEE Main question papers.

Keep it realWhile many endorse doing mock tests, it is a reality that one or two mock test can be done. To continuously sit and solve previous papers all day long is improbable and impossible too. It is also not the right method to go. So the best strategy is to do a mock test per day, analyse and then revise. This ensures that you correct the mistakes you made and don't repeat them in the actual exam which is what matters. Don't let a bad mock test performance hinder or demoralise you. It is important to keep grounded and improvise at every step.

Say No to self-doubt: Don't allow room for low self-confidence. Keep your faith and do your best. There is no guarantee regarding the performance in the JEE Main. A day may be good or bad. Just do your best and move further. The last few days are crucial but it is necessary to keep cool and avoid stressing. Tune yourself to keep mentally strong and you will see that nothing and no one can defeat you in your march to success. Check a topic, do a mock test, prepare for that section and move to the next one without letting doubts creep in.

Take Regular BreaksTaking a small break of 5-10 minutes after an hour of study is very important in order to relax your mind. It reduces fatigue, and helps in improving the concentration. Also, taking brief intervals breaks the monotony and refreshes you enough to start studying again with an increased energy level.

Adequate and Good Sleep is necessary:Make sure that you get the right amount of sleep before the exam. Depriving oneself of sleep will result in fatigue and high stress level with a drop in concentration level.

Eat healthy during these days:This is pretty crucial as you don't want to end feeling unwell on what happens to be a very important day for your future. Therefore, say no to Junk food, eat healthy and keep fit.

Enhance your ConcentrationBoosting your concentration level is an essential thing to do. It will aid you in focusing during long study hours. Experts suggest that activities like meditation and yoga rejuvenate mind and keep the body fit. Indulging in such activities is very beneficial during the preparation time.

No need to discuss your preparation:It is a common tendency to check with the next person about their preparation. This is illogical as their performance will definitely not boost yours. Instead it may have you worrying that your preparation may be less or inadequate. So avoid discussing your preparation attempts, levels with friends or relatives.

Some tips for the JEE Main 2018 Exam:
  • Spend the first few minutes checking the question paper and reading it.
  • Don't panic after checking the paper. At first sight it may seem like you don't know anything and this may overwhelm you. So take a deep breath and start.
  • It may be that the first few questions may be tough. So move on to the next till you find one that is easy to answer.
  • One important point to keep in mind is that you are not alone. There are thousands of students who are with you. The paper will have been equally tough for them
  • Set a fixed time to answer each question. Don't waste more time on it than the fixed amount. Move to the next one if you can't answer a question.
  • You know best whether you can answer a question well or not. If you can't figure an answer, leave it and move on. Don't risk answering it as you may lose marks on account of negative marking.
  • Any question that requires more time should be marked for review to be answered later.
Remember that success in JEE Main is hard earned and you are just a step away from reaching there and making it yours. Keep in mind the above JEE Main 2018 last minute preparation tips and appear in the exam with all the confidence in you!
Wish you all, best of luck!

Jee main story

How to study long as 14 your to crack jee main? It is easy to for me? I used to study around 16 hours a day during September 2015 - January 2016. I was preparing for JEE Advanced ( An entrance exam for admission in Indian Institute of Technology, the best engineering institute of India ). JEE Advanced is one of the most difficult exams in the world at high school level. It has an extremely cutthroat competition. I managed to get an All India Rank 247 among 200,000 students which were selected among 1,200,000 (1.2 million) students. My subjects were: Mathematics - Considered as most difficult among all Physics - Moderately Difficult Chemistry - Not too Difficult I had a very less time as compared to a normal candidate, perhaps one fourth of a normal candidate. But there was a kind of madness in me for IIT. I was extremely determined to reach IIT at any cost. I could sacrifice anything for IIT. Now it was a big challenge to push myself out of that backlog of syl...
